What is Jena2i?
Jena2i is the first project in the region that explores the idea of educating judges, lawyers, and other stakeholders on digital forensics using an e-learning platform. The team has currently implemented the online e-learning platform, and created a basic course on the basics of computer forensics in both Arabic and English. The course material includes power point presentations, quizzes, and videos that aid non-expert computer users in learning concepts related to computer forensics. As Information Technology (IT) high-tech crimes continue to rise in the U.A.E., and the MENA region, Jena2i can start supporting judges, lawyers, and stakeholders involved in both law and criminal investigation, to understand the intricate process of digital forensics, aiding them in making better decisions, and gaining a better understanding of the technical process involved in investigating cyber crimes.
